Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church is a growing catholic family. The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is proclaimed and taught in our parish. We are faithful to the teachings of the holy Roman Catholic Church. Maricopa is a city of approximately 34,000 people with an estimated Catholic population of 10,200. Our current building was built as a small mission from St. Anthony of Padua in Casa Grande, Arizona. It can seat about 200 people. We are celebrating six masses on the weekend and one daily mass Monday through Friday. We are educating over 400 children and youth in our Religious Education program. The need for a new church and administration facilities is self-evident.
We rely on the Lord's blessings, the prayers of our Lady of Grace and the participation and commitment of the people of our parish. We are asking every family or individual to consider making a commitment to "Proclaiming our Faith, Nourishing our Community and Building our Catholic Home." With the participation of each family or individual we can raise the necessary money for our First Phase of our New Church.
Our goal for our First Phase is $2.5 million. This will build a 500 seat church (to eventually expand to 1,500) and an administration/classroom facility for the parish. We have a pledged amount of $2,112,980.38 from 481 families. We have more than 1,100 families registered in our parish . . . with the full participation of everyone we could easily reach our goal!
