Christ our Cornerstone
Announcing the beginning of Christ Our Cornerstone Campaign. This campaign will reach out to every parishioner to ask for the financial support needed to make our long awaited parish church a reality. The Christ Our Cornerstone Campaign seeks to raise a minimum of $1.5 million in pledges payable over 3 to 5 years. While this is our minimum goal, our real challenge is to raise $2 million or more to ensure that our new Church will meet our current needs. Over the next few months, each of us will be asked to make a multi-year pledge. We are confident that the many new parishioners who have joined our parish in the past five years and those who have supported these efforts in the past will join together in faith and sacrifice to support this campaign. Everyone’s gift is needed to make real our dream of having a beautiful and worthy Church to celebrate the Eucharist and invite all to prayer and service in Christ’s name.
Christ is our Cornerstone… of faith, of hope, of love and of salvation.
Let us set His Cornerstone in Maricopa with His help!

About the Film . . .
Shot on location in Mexico and Spain, "The Blood & The Rose" offers riveting interviews with top experts in the fields of science, history and theology, exploring the mystery of St. Juan Diego’s tilma and the miraculous image that it bears. More than just a story about a distant event, "The Blood & The Rose ' - directed by Timothy Watkins (In the Face of Evil) with Executive Producer, Steve McEveety (The Passion of the Christ), and narrated by Eduardo Verastegui ("Bella," "For Greater Glory") - is truly an invitation and a calling to emulate St. Juan Diego in our own day, carrying the message of the Virgin of Guadalupe – Patroness of the Americas and Patroness of Life – into the culture in which we live.

Our Lady of Grace Parish will again be participating, praying in front of the Planned Parenthood, 610 N. Alma School Road, in Chandler. We are again trying to cover the twelve - 1-hour slots on the five Tuesdays of the campaign. 40 Days for Life prayer vigil campaigns have resulted in forty-four abortion clinic closings, nearly 10,000 lives saved (that we know of), and the post abortive healing of countless women and men that is so desperately needed.
This Lent, won't you please SACRIFICE one hour to sign up and pray so that others may LIVE?For more information, please send email request to firstname.lastname@example.org. Or visit http://40daysforlife.com/chandler.html for more information and to sign up online.
The refusal to take sides on great moral issues is itself a decision. It is a silent acquiescence to evil. The Tragedy of our time is that those who still believe in honesty lack fire and conviction, while those who believe in dishonesty are full of passionate conviction. ~ Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen

PRAYER FOR THE END TO ABORTION
Every Friday - 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Location: On Hwy 347 in front of Basha's, next to Circle K
Please consider making a commitment to join a group praying every Friday afternoon beginning January 4, 2013, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on the west side of John Wayne Parkway (Hwy. 347).
Our purpose is to bring awareness to the reality of Abortion. It’s crucial that we pray and stand against the powers of darkness over our land that have given us the present “culture of death.” Simply come and stand in peaceful solidarity at the corner for an hour on Fridays. Bring your sign if you have one, to witness to and help educate a public that is sorely lacking the Truth that abortion is a great evil that defames the name and holiness of God. It is not an easy thing to witness to the truth of abortion. The media continues to treat those who oppose abortions as extremists and mindless zealots. However, considering the scope of the evil that plagues our countries, it is vital that pro-lifers speak up, because if they don’t speak up, no one else will.
Please contact Ann Bunn at 717-495-0222 for more information. Thank you in advance for your participation.
Groundbreaking Ceremony for Streets of Our Lady of Grace Parish
May 1, 2013
We give thanks to God the Almighty for bringing us to this point in the building of our new church. May the Lord bless our efforts and grant success to the work of our hands. Our Lady of Grace, pray for us. St. Joseph, pray for us.
"The Crossing" will be the name of our parish property. This will be the name used to identify the site of our parish, school and future development projects. For example, when referring to the location of our parish one could say we are at "Our Lady of Grace Parish at the Crossing in Maricopa."
What is it that God is asking you to do with your life?
Are you discerning your "call" in life, your vocation?
Have you ever thought of being a priest?
Diocese of Tucson Vocations Prayer
Loving and generous God, we need more vocations to the priesthood. Send us faith-filled servants to minister as dedicated and loving priests in the Diocese of Tucson.
Inspire us with your Holy Spirit so that we will encourage and foster a culture of vocations in which many will hear your call to serve your people.
Bless our Diocese with men and women who will work together with your priests as deacons, religious, and lay ministers to bring to life the Gospel and to realize the Church’s mission in our Diocese. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
