The Lenten regulations regarding fasting are as follows: All people from age 18 to age 59 are required to fast. This means one full meal for the day (and if necessary, two smaller meals maybe taken that do not equal the full meal). Fasting is required on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.
Abstaining refers to not eating meat or chicken for the day. This applies to everyone from the age of 14 and up. We are called to abstain from eating meat on Ash Wednesday and all the Fridays during Lent.
Two Daily Masses during Lent: 8:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Begining February 15, 2016, we will adding a second daily Mass during Lent at 6:30 p.m. This is an opportunity for us to be able to attend Mass every day during Lent so as to foster a spirit of conversion and grow closer to Christ by daily hearing the Gospel and receiving Him in the Holy Eucharist.

Filmed on location in Rome, the Holy Land, Calcutta and in the Augustine Institute studios in Denver, CO. Symbolon journeys through the core teachings of the Catholic faith to open up the "big picture" in a way that will help you know, live and articulate the faith to others.
If you could sum up Symbolon in one sentence, a good description might be: "Discover the big picture of the Catholic faith."

(33min), The Paschal Mystery (33min), The Holy Spirit and the Life of Grace (37min), Why Do I Need A Church? (44min), Mary and the Saints (36min), The Last Things (40min), and much more.
Healing Prayer Ministry
Wednesday: February 3, 2016 at 8:15 p.m.
Can we pray for you? Prayer is an effective and powerful way to receive God’s help and healing. You are invited to join us on our scheduled Wednesday nights starting November 18th at 8:15 p.m. in the church having individual prayer. Come expecting God to do something. You may have a family member that needs prayer. You can stand in his place. You may need a job, or a physical healing. You may need prayer to get free from addiction. God honors prayer like this from the heart. You may or you may not see healing happen, it is up to God. We are willing to ask and receive. The Bible says you have not because you ask not. Thank you, Priscilla Santi, Gregory McGrath, Yvonne and Andy Murray.
Next Date: February 3, 2016

Plans for New Parish Church
What is it that God is asking you to do with your life?
Are you discerning your "call" in life, your vocation?
Have you ever thought of being a priest?
Diocese of Tucson Vocations Prayer
Loving and generous God, we need more vocations to the priesthood. Send us faith-filled servants to minister as dedicated and loving priests in the Diocese of Tucson.
Inspire us with your Holy Spirit so that we will encourage and foster a culture of vocations in which many will hear your call to serve your people.
Bless our Diocese with men and women who will work together with your priests as deacons, religious, and lay ministers to bring to life the Gospel and to realize the Church’s mission in our Diocese. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
