Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church is a parish of the Diocese of Tucson, Arizona.  Bishop Gerald F. Kicanas established the parish on January 13, 2007. We are dedicated to proclaiming and living our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ!  We seek to preach and teach the fullness of the Gospel in accord with the teachings of the holy Roman Catholic Church by loving God and neighbor.

We will gather on the sidewalk of John Wayne Parkway (Hwy 347) in front of Basha's, on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Life Chain event is being organized and sponsored by Our Lady of Grace Youth Ministries, under the direction of Alonso (Bambino) Chavez.

St. Francis and Animals

Blessing of Animals - Tuesday, October 4th at 5:30 p.m.

“Blessed are you, Lord God, maker of all living creatures.  You called forth fish in the sea, birds in the air and animals on the land.  You inspired St. Francis to call all of them his brothers and sisters.  We ask you to bless this pet.  By the power of your love, enable it to live according to your plan.  May we always praise you for all your beauty in creation.  Blessed are you, Lord our God, in all your creatures!  Amen.”

Animal Kisses

The Blessing of Animals will take place on the front lawn of the church at 5:30 p.m.  All pets and animals are welcome.

All pets must be leashed or in their cage. Certificate of Blessing will be provided as well. Treats for people and their pets will be available for purchase.


Children & Worship Program 2016-2017

Registration October 1, 2016

This program is designed as a support for parents in educating their three and four year old children pre-schoolers about Catholic faith and values, the Mass and God’s love. Classes begin in October 13 and will meet on designated Sundays through May 2017. The registration fee is $5.00 per student.

Annual Parish Festival Planning Meeting
Thursday, October 6th at 7:00 p.m. Parish Office

All are welcome to join us to share your ideas and opinions for the 2017 Annual Parish Festival. We are looking for a few volunteers to become leaders of sub-committees. Please prayerfully consider being a part of this committee. This is our largest fundraiser that our parish hosts and we need you to make this successful. Each year, America Needs Fatima holds the Public Square Rosary Crusade, with thousands of rosary rallies in cities all across the country. In 2015, there were 14,108 rallies and in 2014, there were 12,629 groups simultaneously praying for our country and the world all across America! These Public Square Rosary Rallies take place on the closest Saturday to October 13, feast of the last apparition of Our Lady of Fatima and the Miracle of the Sun.

Our Lady of Grace Parish will participate in the nationwide praying of the rosary on Saturday, October 15th at 12:00 noon at the Shrine of Our Lady of Grace at the parish.  Please join us for this very important spiritual work.

Organ Concert at Our Lady of Grace Church

Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Maricopa, AZ is please to present an Organ Concert by Dan Miller. There is no fee for the concert but a collection will be made to assist with our Organ Fund.

Dan Miller is internationally renowned as an organist. He has also taught music, conducted choral groups and orchestras, led and facilitated worship in many different settings, and managed large concert productions and music conferences. He is respected as an innovative leader in handbells. A professional member of the American Society of Composers and Publishers, Mr. Miller is well-known for his composing and arranging, and has several published works. He has been seen and heard live in concert and through recordings on radio, television, and the internet. He has been the featured solo organist with several symphony orchestras. He is a former Dean of the Ft. Lauderdale chapter of The American Guild of Organists and is a member of the Portland chapter AGO. Mr. Miller is in his 15th year as Product Manager at Rodgers Instruments Corporation, one of the world’s leading organ builders, in Hillsboro, Oregon. He also is an Adjunct Professor of Organ at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon.

We will be raffling off this digital grand piano at the Our Lady of Grace Annual Parish Festival on January 29th, 2017. Time to be determined.

Tickets are $25 per ticket or (1) one book of 5 tickets for $100.

Piano is valued at $5,500.00

All proceeds will go toward the purchase of the Organ in the loft. Tickets are available in the parish office or from Music Ministry personnel.

This Wang & Sons digital grand was donated by Wang Piano Organ, to help raise funds for the new Rodgers organ at Our Lady of Grace Parish.

Adult Confirmation Class

(English) will begin on Tuesday, October 4th. Classes will be held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Office. Parish Office at The Crossing

The Parish Office has moved to The Crossing. We are located in the modular building on the north side of the church. The entrance to the office is the east door, and parking is available in the lot south of the church. Our phone number (520-568-4605) and staff emails have not changed.

Agape Young Adult Group

The Agape Young Adult Group will meet every Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Parish Office beginning Sunday, August 14th. Our meetings will consist of various activities and talks, spiritual and social, as we continue to grow in our Catholic faith. We will also participate in outreach projects. First Friday 24-Hour Eucharistic Adoration

October 7, 2016

All day and all night Eucharistic Adoration will begin on Friday, October 7th after the 8:00 a.m. Mass and conclude with Benediction and Mass at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday morning (October 8th).

The Lord promised that He would be with us until the end of time. His Real Presence in the Holy Eucharist is the fulfillment of that promise. Prayer and adoration before the Blessed Sacrament shows our faith in the true and real Presence of the Lord Jesus Christ among us. Come to the Lord and pour out your hearts before Him!

First Friday Masses: 8:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Benediction and Mass Saturday: 8:00 a.m.

Our Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a special project to glorify God for answering our prayers for our New Parish Church. The "Pathways of Life and Remembrance" Legacy Paver Project will provide you to place a special message of your choice on a paver brick. Your message can create a lasting family legacy, remember a departed one or commemorate an important event in your life.

Please consider sponsoring a paver. Costs range from $100 for a 4"x 8" (3 lines of 18 characters each), $200 for a 8"x 8" (6 lines of 18 characters each) to $250 for a 8"x 8" (Logo plus 2 lines of 18 characters each). Orders will be taken after weekend Masses or in the Parish Office. Cash, checks and credit cards accepted.

Hope Youth Group will not be meeting in the month of July! We will be taking a small break this summer. We will be starting again in August with a new time and day! We will be meeting every Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please join us on August 1st for first meeting with our new day & time!
