Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church is a parish of the Diocese of Tucson, Arizona. Bishop Gerald F. Kicanas established the parish on January 13, 2007. We are dedicated to proclaiming and living our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ! We seek to preach and teach the fullness of the Gospel in accord with the teachings of the holy Roman Catholic Church by loving God and neighbor.
Daily Rosary during Month of May
6:45 p.m.
The month of May, in the Roman Catholic tradition, is a month dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The holy Rosary will be prayed every day during the month of May in the Church at 6:45 p.m. (on Sundays at 6:10 p.m.). The May Crowning will take place at the end of the month.

Bible Camp - June 4 - 8, 2012
10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Hey boys and girls! Make plans to join us this summer for our annual Bible Camp. All kids ages 4 to 12 years old are welcome. All registrations will be taken during the Religious Education Office Hours, Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Join us for "The Bible and the Virgin Mary", a 6-part Bible Study from Dr. Scott Hahn and the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology
- Next Bible Class - May 20 and May 22, 2012:
- Lesson Four: Mother Crowned in Glory: The Queen Mother in the Davidic kingdom, Privileges Queen Mother, and Mary as Queen Mother in the Kingdom of Christ.
Classes will be offered twice a week: Sundays at 6:30 p.m. (beginning April 22) and Tuesdays at 1:15 p.m. (beginning April 24). Class will be held in the church. Presenters: Michael Barnes, Carla Peralta, and Don Raflik. Cost: $15.00. For further information, contact Michael Barnes 520-568-6682.
Would You Like to Be an Altar Server?
Altar Server Training - June 12-15, 2012
All boys and girls of the parish who have made their First Holy Communion and would like to serve as an Altar Server are invited to attend the Altar Server Training sessions to be held Tuesday through Friday, June 12th through 15th at the church from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Please call the office (520) 568-4605 to register for these training sessions. It is recommended that the boys and girls attend all four sessions in order to be able to serve at Mass.
World Youth Day 2013 in Rio de Janeiro
The Youth Ministries of Our Lady of Grace Parish have embraced the challenge and call of the Holy Father, Pope Benedict to join him and all Catholic Youth for a life-changing event at World Youth Day, July 23-28, 2013. World Youth Day is open to all young adults from ages 16 to 36 years. If you are interested and would like more information we will have an informational meeting on May 7th at 6:30 p.m.

“CAMP KINO” - For men 16 years and above! Join the first “Camp Kino” One Day Vocations Retreat. It will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Redemptorist Renewal Center at Picture Rocks, in Tucson. The first 30 participants will receive a full scholarship. The word “ribfest” refers to a social gathering where food is served, usually outdoors in the late afternoon or evening where fingers become obscured with a mildly spicy barbeque sauce from handling slow cooked ribs followed by a sigh with a statement, “boy, are these good!” Save the date, Saturday, June 9th at 6:00 p.m. Please watch the bulletin for ticket sales information. Tickets will need to be purchased in advance of the “RIBFEST”. Tell your friends.

Cursillos in Christianity is a movement that, through a method of its own tries to, and through God's grace manages to; enable the essential realities of the Christian to come to life in the uniqueness, originality, and creativity of each person. In becoming aware of their potential and while accepting their limitations they exercise their freedom by their conviction, strengthen their will with their decision, to propitiate friendship in virtue of their constancy in both their personal and community life.
The Cursillo Movement consists of proclaiming the best news of the best reality: that God, in Christ, loves us. Communicated by the best means, which is friendship towards the best of each one, which is his being person and his capacity of Conviction, Decision, and Constancy.
And what needs to be emphasized today, now, and immediately in order to be on the cutting edge of today's debate is to facilitate and make possible for every person to encounter oneself always and absolutely essential in order to be able to encounter God and others.

Los Cursillos de Cristiandad son un Movimiento que mediante un método propio, intentan (y con la gracia de Dios consigue) desde la Iglesia, que las realidades de lo cristiano se hagan vida en la singularidad, en la originalidad y en la creatividad de cada persona, para que, descubriendo sus potencialidades y aceptando sus limitaciones, conduzca su libertad desde su convicción, refuerce su voluntad con su decisión y propicie la amistad en virtud de su constancia en su cotidiano vivir individual y comunitario.
El Movimiento de Cursillos, consiste en proclamar la mejor noticia de la mejor realidad: que Dios en Cristo nos ama. Comunicada por el mejor medio que es la amistad, hacia lo mejor de cada uno, que es su ser de persona, su capacidad de Convicción, de Decisión y de Constancia.
Y lo que hay que enfatizar hoy, ahora y desde ya, para estar al filo de lo que hoy se debate es el posibilitar y facilitar a cada persona un encuentro consigo mismo siempre absolutamente imprescindible para poderse encontrar con Dios y con los hermanos.

Hope Group
Middle School Youth Group
Our Lady of Grace "Hope" meets on Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the parish office. We meet on the first and third Sundays of the month from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. All middle school youth from 6th through 8th grade are invited to come and join the most "spectacu-LORD" group in Maricopa.
