A Love That Lasts: God’s Plan for Sexuality

    THIS SESSION WILL COVER:
  • God’s plan for human sexuality
  • Why the Church teaches that sex needs to be both unitive and procreative
  • How the Church’s teaching on sex is not a “no” but a “yes” to authentic love
  • Why we can’t separate pleasure from self-giving
  • How sex is an essential part of the total, free, faithful and fruitful aspects of marriage

Walk to Emmaus is open to all who want to know more about our Catholic faith, especially converts and cradle Catholics who desire to increase their faith and understanding of the Catholic Church and its teachings.

Each session will use the beautiful Symbolon videos followed by discussions, questions and answers.  We will also incorporate material from other Formed resources, such as Catholicism, Eucharist, Lectio, Peter and more.

Symbolon

If you could sum up Symbolon in one sentence, a good description might be:  "Discover the big picture of the Catholic faith."

Are you discerning your "call" in life, your vocation?

Have you ever thought of being a priest?

Diocese of Tucson Vocations Prayer

Loving and generous God, we need more vocations to the priesthood. Send us faith-filled servants to minister as dedicated and loving priests in the Diocese of Tucson.

Inspire us with your Holy Spirit so that we will encourage and foster a culture of vocations in which many will hear your call to serve your people.

Bless our Diocese with men and women who will work together with your priests as deacons, religious, and lay ministers to bring to life the Gospel and to realize the Church’s mission in our Diocese. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
